If medicine will be sent to you
Ask who will make and send it. Get the pharmacy’s full name before checking the record.
State boards of pharmacy license pharmacies; the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) directs readers to those boards.
FDA guidance checked on September 17, 2026, says to avoid an online pharmacy unless your state board’s records include it.
A listing shows a licence record; it does not tell you whether each prescription is filled properly.

Use the pharmacy named in the care plan or on the label when you search. Ask for an explanation if the details do not match.
